The Canadian government wants to facilitate and encourage more and more international visitors to come to Canada on trips, Holidays, or Vacations.
To visit Canada as a tourist, you will need to apply for a visitor visa, also known as a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). Depending on your nationality, you may need a TRV to enter Canada, even if you are only transiting through the country.
To apply for a visitor visa, you will need to complete an application form and provide supporting documents such as a valid passport, proof of financial support, and a letter of invitation from a host in Canada (if applicable). You may also be required to undergo a medical examination and provide police clearance certificates.
The process for applying for a visitor visa can vary depending on the country you are in and your individual circumstances. It is important to carefully read the instructions and requirements provided by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and follow them closely to ensure that your application is complete and accurate. If you are planning to visit Canada for a specific purpose, such as to study or work, you may need to apply for a different type of visa. It is important to determine the correct visa category for your visit and apply for the appropriate visa to ensure that you are allowed to enter and stay in Canada.
